The Network
Partnership takes your security and privacy very seriously and our web
site has been designed with this in mind.
Any data you
submit to us is transmitted securely. The data is encrypted, making it
virtually impossible to read without a 'key' to decipher it, before
being stored in a secure area. This secure area can only be accessed
by authorised persons.
The Data Protection
Act
The Data Protection
Act 1998 (see http://www.dataprotection.gov.uk/
for more information) gives certain rights as it defines the
rules for processing information. It also states that those who
record and process information, such as the Network Partnership, must
be open and honest in how the information is used. It describes how
the Network Partnership can process information by listing
eight principles of good information handling. The principles state
that data must be:
- Processed fairly
and lawfully
- Obtained for
limited purposes
- Adequate, relevant
and not excessive
- Accurate and kept
up to date
- Not kept for
longer than is necessary
- Processed in
accordance with your rights
- Kept Secure
- Not transferred to
countries without adequate levels of protection
The Act also allows
you to find out what information the Network Partnership holds,
in return for a small fee. This is known as a "subject access
request." If you wish to know what information the Network
Partnership holds about you, please write to the registered office, Network Partnership
Ltd,

any information is inaccurate or incorrect, please inform the Network
Partnership and we will correct it.
The Network
Partnership provides training for our partners and staff and
emphasises the need to keep data confidential. We also regularly
review our security procedures.
